Dynamic Duo

I had some pictures taken of the boys in February to try and capture their personalities. I don't know where the time goes. They seem to be growing like weeds!
I wake up every morning wondering what the day has in store for us because it seems like they learn something new everyday!

Bull Fights

Zach really likes it when daddy pretends like he's a bull.

Zach finally got his two teeth that were coming in. He now has 6 very BIG teeth! Too cute!

CABIN FEVER

The boys decided that they would toilet paper the house this week!! I can't take my eyes off them for a second. One minute I'm loading the washing machine and the next...the boys are toilet papering the hallways!! Ohhhh, how I dream of the sunny days ahead so we can play outside!!

Happy Birthday Zachary!!

It seems like just yesterday that we drove Jessica (Zach's Birth Mom) to the hospital anxiously waiting for Zachary's arrival!
I vividly remember all the feelings rushing through my body. Scared, excited, anxious, worried, but most of all, GRATEFUL!
Grateful for the opportunity to become parents. This was the day that Pete and I had dreamed about. This is the day that would change our lives forever. Our emotions ran high that morning. We checked Jessica into the hospital at 8am January 24, 2007. 13 hours and 11 minutes later Zachary Ryan Eichhorst was born!!

Zachary 2 Days Old

I always imagined how I would feel when I became a mom, but nothing could have prepared me for the way I look at life today.
Happy Birthday Zachary! We love you very much!!

Unfortunately, Zachary and the entire family were sick on his birthday, but we didn't let the flu stand in the way of eating cupcakes and singing Happy Birthday. By the end of the week we were feeling much better and met our friends in the Wisconsin Dells for the boys first waterpark experience.

More Food Please!!

Zach has finally started to enjoy eating as much as Jacob! His appetite has picked up! Unlike his mother, food has never been very important to him!! As you can see, he is getting quite comfortable at mealtime in the Eichhorst house!!

Bath Time Giggles

Zach's infectious laugh strikes again! I never knew splashing could be so fun! Jake is usually the one splashing, but tonight, his only interest is trying to get Ernie out of the boat!

Merry Christmas!

The boys first Christmas was wonderful. Just as we were getting ready to open presents the snow began to fall. We took the boys outside and let them feel snow for the first time!!! It was amazing. I will be posting more pictures but wanted to wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and hope that everyone takes a moment out of their busy schedules to take a deep breath and enjoy the season!
