Merry Christmas!

The boys first Christmas was wonderful. Just as we were getting ready to open presents the snow began to fall. We took the boys outside and let them feel snow for the first time!!! It was amazing. I will be posting more pictures but wanted to wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and hope that everyone takes a moment out of their busy schedules to take a deep breath and enjoy the season!

My daddy bought a new snowblower this weekend thanks to Grandma Judy!! I'm practicing my snowblowing until the first dump of snow. Still no snow here in Minneapolis. From what I hear, it's a miracle. Most say we should have had snow by now...You know I'm not complaining! It's still in the 60's in California! boo-hoo

It's Official!

When I told Zachary that this was a VERY important day for our family....his response was the smile or smirk on his face!!

Our friends and family went back into the judges chambers as we signed the final paperwork!

November 17th 2007 was a VERY important day. Not only was it National Adoption Day but it was the day Zachary Ryan Eichhorst's adoption was finalized. It was an amazing day shared with friends and family.

THE DAY BEFORE HIS 9 MOS B-DAY...ZACH DECIDED THAT HE WOULD START WALKING!! WE COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!

Still No Teeth

ZACH IS 8 MONTHS OLD AND STILL NO TEETH!! HE IS GROWING LIKE A WEED AND CRAWLS AND STANDS EVERY CHANCE HE GETS. ZACH IS DOING REALLY WELL ADJUSTING TO HIS BIG BROTHER JAKE. THEY SHARE TOYS, HOLD HANDS BEFORE THEY FALL ASLEEP AND PLAY REALLY WELL TOGETHER.

AUGUST UPDATES

AUGUST WAS A BUSY MONTH....WE FOUND OUT JAKE WAS COMING HOME, WE WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF A MOVE AND LOOKING FOR A HOUSE IN MINNEAPOLIS. PETE STARTED WORKING IN MINNEAPOLIS EARLY AUGUST AND I STAYED BACK IN CALIFORNIA WRAPPING UP JAKE'S ADOPTION PAPERWORK BEFORE LEAVING FOR GUATEMALA. IT WAS 3 LONG WEEKS BEFORE WE WERE TOGETHER AS A FAMILY BUT SPENT SOME GOOD TIME WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
